# LazyTradie

> LazyTradie is an AI receptionist and booking system for Australian trade businesses. It answers phone calls, SMS and website chat 24/7, books jobs into the tradie's live ServiceM8 calendar, escalates emergencies, and handles reschedules and cancellations. Built for plumbers, electricians, builders and other trades.

Key facts:

- Channels: phone calls, plain SMS (customers need no app) and website chat, answered 24/7 by one AI agent.
- Booking: the AI asks follow-up questions, gives a ballpark price based on the tradie's own pricing, works out urgency, checks the live ServiceM8 calendar, offers only times that are free, and books the job.
- Three booking tiers the tradie chooses from: Tier 1 Lead Capture (the AI captures the lead, the tradie books it), Tier 2 One-Tap Booking (the tradie approves with a yes or no), Tier 3 Emergency + Approval (Tier 2 plus emergency handling).
- Emergencies: safety-critical jobs transfer the call directly to the tradie and send an SMS instantly.
- Reschedules and cancellations: handled by the AI. Cancellations more than 24 hours before the appointment are processed automatically; under 24 hours, the tradie gets a notification.
- ServiceM8: native live sync of clients, jobs, schedules and invoices; the invoice sends on job completion. A Fergus integration is in development; SimPro and other trade CRMs are planned.
- Pricing (AUD, incl. GST, month-to-month, no setup fees, cancel anytime): Solo $299/month for sole traders; Business $499/month for businesses with 2–4 staff, adding multi-job dispatch via the ServiceM8 Dispatch Board, a monthly performance report, higher AI capacity and priority support.
- Websites: every plan comes with a free basic website with the AI agent on it. One-off website builds cost $699 (5 pages) or $999 (adds local SEO to every page), AUD incl. GST.
- Setup: most tradies are live the same day.
